Data processing on our website

When you visit our website, our web server temporarily stores each access in a log file. The following data is collected and stored until automated deletion:

– IP address of the requesting computer
– date and time of access
– name and URL of the retrieved file –
amount of data transferred – message as to whether the retrieval was successful
– identification data of the browser and operating system used.

This data is processed for the purpose of enabling the use of the website (connection establishment), system security, technical administration, network infrastructure and optimisation of the internet offer. We cannot assign this data to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources; the data is also deleted after a statistical evaluation.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. (1) sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR.

Collection, processing and use of personal data

During data processing, your interests worthy of protection are always taken into account in accordance with the legal provisions. Personal data is only collected if you voluntarily provide it to us in the context of contacting us (such as your name, e-mail address or postal address). We use the data you provide without your separate consent exclusively to answer your questions.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. (1) sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Use of essential cookies

In order to make your visit to our website more comfortable and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are used as identifiers, i.e. they are used to recognise visitors during and after their visit to the website and to store information about them (such as the language settings on a website, the login status or a shopping basket). We transfer these cookies to your computer’s hard drive via your web browser, where we store them during your current visit and for up to one year after, in order to be able to read them.

Please note that certain cookies are already set as soon as you enter our website. You have the option of preventing cookies from being stored on your computer by making the appropriate settings in your browser. However, this may limit the functionality of our website for you.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data using technically necessary cookies within the meaning of Section 25 (2) TTDSG is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to present you with a functional and user-friendly website with the help of the necessary cookies.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyse website usage. The data obtained from this is used to optimise our website and advertising measures.

Google Analytics is provided to us by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google processes website usage data on our behalf and is contractually committed to measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data processed.

During your visit to the website, the following data, among others, is recorded:

  • Pages accessed
  • Orders incl. the turnover and the products ordered
  • The achievement of “website goals” (e.g. contact requests)
  • Your behaviour on the pages (for example, dwell time, clicks, scrolling behaviour)
  • Your approximate location (country and city)
  • Your IP address (in shortened form, so that no clear assignment is possible)
  • Technical information such as browser, internet provider, terminal device and screen resolution
  • Source of origin of your visit (i.e. via which website or via which advertising material you came to us)

No personal data such as name, address or contact details are ever transferred to Google Analytics.

This data is transferred to Google servers in the USA. We would like to point out that the same level of data protection cannot be guaranteed in the USA as within the EU.

Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID that can be used to recognise you on future visits to the website.

The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which enables the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remain stored in aggregated form indefinitely.

If you do not agree with the collection, you can prevent it with the one-time installation of the browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics or by rejecting the cookies via our cookie settings dialogue.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data using cookies for analysis purposes within the meaning of Section 25 (1) sentence 1 TTDSG is Article 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You have the option of revoking your consent at any time in the settings of the cookie banner.

Google Ads

Our website uses the online advertising programme “Google Ads”, a product of Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4. Ireland (“Google”) and, as part of this, conversion tracking to measure on which websites our advertisements are most successful. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google or its partners. The cookies then set lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. This cookie allows us and Google to recognise which ad you came to our website from. Each visitor who has come to our site via Google Ads receives a different cookie. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to determine which visitors triggered a specific action on our website via ads. We learn the total number of users who clicked on our ads and which clicks resulted in an action. We do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify a user.

Users who do not wish to participate in tracking can easily delete the Google conversion tracking cookie via their internet browser under user settings or deactivate it in principle. These users will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

This website uses the YouTube button of the social network YouTube, which is operated by YouTube LLC with headquarters at 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (“YouTube”). When you call up a web page of our website that contains such a button, your browser establishes a direct connection with the YouTube servers. The content of the YouTube button is transmitted by YouTube directly to your browser, which then integrates it into the website. Facebook

The controller has integrated components of the company Facebook on this website. Facebook is a social network.

A social network is a social meeting place operated on the Internet, an online community that usually allows users to communicate and interact with each other in virtual space. A social network can serve as a platform for exchanging opinions and experiences or enables the internet community to provide personal or company-related information. Facebook allows social network users to create private profiles, upload photos and network via friend requests, among other things.

The operating company of Facebook is Facebook, Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA. The controller of personal data where a data subject lives outside the USA or Canada is Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.

Each time one of the individual pages of this website operated by the controller is called up and on which a Facebook component (Facebook plug-in) has been integrated, the internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically caused by the respective Facebook component to download a representation of the corresponding Facebook component from Facebook. A complete overview of all Facebook plug-ins can be found at developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. Within the scope of this technical procedure, Facebook receives information about which specific sub-page of our website is visited by the data subject.

If the data subject is logged into Facebook at the same time, Facebook recognises which specific sub-page of our website the data subject is visiting each time the data subject calls up our website and for the entire duration of the respective stay on our website. This information is collected by the Facebook component and assigned by Facebook to the respective Facebook account of the data subject. If the data subject activates one of the Facebook buttons integrated on our website, for example the “Like” button, or if the data subject posts a comment, Facebook assigns this information to the personal Facebook user account of the data subject and stores this personal data.

Facebook always receives information via the Facebook component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is logged into Facebook at the same time as calling up our website; this takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on the Facebook component or not. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to Facebook, he or she can prevent the transmission by logging out of his or her Facebook account before accessing our website.

The data policy published by Facebook, which can be accessed at en.facebook.com/about/privacy/, provides information about the collection, processing and use of personal data by Facebook. It also explains which setting options Facebook offers to protect the privacy of the data subject. In addition, various applications are available that make it possible to suppress data transmission to Facebook. Such applications can be used by the data subject to suppress data transmission to Facebook.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data using cookies for analysis purposes within the meaning of Section 25 (1) sentence 1 TTDSG is Article 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You have the option to revoke your consent in the cookie banner settings at any time.

If you are an Instagram member and do not want Instagram to collect data about you via our website and link it to your membership data stored on Instagram, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data using cookies for analysis purposes within the meaning of Section 25 (1) sentence 1 TTDSG is Article 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You have the option to revoke your consent in the cookie banner settings at any time.

We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by LinkedIn.
